Vector for Bambu Studio
Available
Vector connects to Bambu Studio through an adapter it installs for you. It reads the open project, changes print settings with undo, slices plates and reports time, material, and warnings, and checks your printers before a job starts. It only starts a print when you ask.
What Vector can do
- Read the open project: plates, objects, filaments, and the effective print settings.
- Change process settings such as layer height and wall loops, with undo.
- Arrange and orient objects, split parts, assign filaments, and set height ranges.
- Slice a plate and report print time, material use, and slicer warnings.
- Check printer status, AMS filament, files on the printer, and a photo from the printer camera.
- Run pre-print checks and start a print only after you ask, then follow its progress.
Example requests
Put these three STL files on one plate, orient them for strength, and slice with 0.2 mm layers in PETG.
Slice plate 1 at 0.16 mm layers and tell me the print time and filament use.
Use the PETG in AMS slot 2 for the lid, check for warnings, and show me the bed camera before I start the print.
